Picnics & Pinks 2024

Thursday 27th June | Friday 28th June | Saturday 29th June

2024 will be our 14th year of organising a variety of midsummer music evenings in the gardens of Chilworth Manor.  This will be the first year that the event will be organised together with Chilworth Manor Vineyard, but don’t worry, the format will remain the same with some of our old favourites returning to the stage again!  As in previous years, a different local charity will benefit each night. This year the charities we are supporting are Mobile Physio, Primary Robins (part of Grange Park Opera) and Forging Futures.

The format of the evenings is the same each night:

The gates open at 18:00 and music will start at around 18:30, the event finishes at 22.00.

Please feel free to bring a picnic, tables, chairs and blankets (please take your left-overs and rubbish home with you).

The bar stocks Chilworth Manor Vineyard’s sparkling wines and still Rosé as well as beer, soft drinks and water. So there is no need to bring your own!

The car park is in a field about 100 metres from the gardens. We encourage you to share a lift as there is a limited number of spaces and we have to charge for the car parking.  Please note car parking tickets must be purchased in advance. Overflow car parking in the vineyard is also available.

If it rains … please bring an umbrella ... the show will go on! As this is a charity event we do not offer refunds.

During the evening you are welcome to wander around the gardens at your own risk. This is a very old garden with many old steps and drops which can get slippery, so please take care moving around in the garden. There are also ponds and a pool, so children need to be supervised at all times. Children are of course very welcome, but need a full-price ticket.

There is limited access for a wheelchair, but we do offer a wheelchair accessible toilet.

No reservations and no dogs or pets please. There is no access to the house.

It is very relaxed – come dressed as you want.
